Welcome to the home of Mon Cher in rural County Antrim, Northern Ireland. As a small show kennel, driven by the dream of producing the very best, we are immensely proud to see our dreams come true  in reaching the ultimate accolade of World Champion Kennels.

A lifetime spent  in the equestrian racing and breeding industry has translated into the same principles and husbandry required to select and produce top quality dogs . “A good eye for a horse” is inherent and can never be taught or explained and it is our belief that a truly good dog will always be recognised in the heart and soul, never the text book.

A new addition to our heart, and our show team, are our Black and Silver Miniature Schnauzers. A joy to own, a giggle to live with and a show ring success, these  courageous little “pocket Bouviers” live happily with our Bouviers and Bordeauxs, and fit snugly into the rare available gaps in front of the fire.

We are now proud to list Numerous National and International Titles.  Much of our success must be attributed to the simple fact that every dog at Mon Cher lives as a much loved family friend, never just an bored ornament in a kennel. Our belief and Motto is -

“Every Dog may not be a Champion, but Every Dog deserves to be treated like one!”
